Sensory Explosion!!!

Last week was "Piggy Day" in our "Nancy Balls" class, a sensory extravaganza at our favorite Mommy and Me. Ever since, Nate has been begging to play playdough and fingerpaint. Inspired by Nancy Balls, after dinner (and right before the bath), Scott and I set up this station and let the kids experiment with finger paint and shaving cream. They had a blast!

A City Commendation

Today our Daddy received a commendation from the City of Torrance during a local City Council meeting. This was brought forward by Councilman Barnett, who is the father-in-law of our old friend Bobby C.. The recognition is for being named Breeze Coach of the Year, Nike Coach of the Year, and CIF Coach of the Year.

Beforehand, the whole family went to dinner at BJ's, and then we all headed to Council Chambers to see Mayor Scotto present Scott with his award. Pretty cool!

Welcome Baby Matthew!

Although Nate and I have visited Jamie and Baby Matthew a few times since his birth on January 17th, today was his first visit to us! We really enjoyed watching him sleep on my bed, weighing him at Bright Beginnings, and getting coffee and warm milk at CBTL.

We can't wait to spend time with our newest family member, get to know him, and watch him grow! Welcome Matty, to our Circle of Love!
