The Orange County Vacay!

My fabulous cousin Jenny and I decided to start a new tradition we have christened the "Orange County Vacay". We figure if we lived several states away, we would annually converge on our parent's homes for some bonding and quality cuzzy time. Just because we live close is no reason not to take advantage, and so, a new tradition is born.

In the picture above, Luke (with Kylie and Shyla) takes an art class at the Pageant of the Masters Art Festival in Laguna Beach. We also went to a pool in Ladera and went to Wild Rivers!!!
Luke, Nate and the girls had a blast playing at Mimi's house. They enjoyed water play and hanging out in the yard, getting dressed up in costumes, and having a sleepover.

Nate fell in love with this little seal at the Art Festival

Grandma Laurie and Baby Matthew come to Mimi's for a visit!

Luke gets crazy on our OC Vacay!

Knott's

We were so fortunate to be able to celebrate the end of summer at Knott's Berry Farm with Nana and Grandpa Hal. Camp Snoopy is awesome, and the kids love all the rides, the bounce house, and the little show. But as they are getting older, we are exploring the rest of the park , too. Luke went crazy for the Wild West show, and has come to really look forward to riding the train with "the stealers".

Our San Diego Trip!

What a fun trip to San Diego! We got to visit Jenny, Shyla and Mike, see Aunt Lindsey, Rod, and Juju. We visited the Children's Museum, ate in Old Town and Little Italy, cheered on the Padres at Petco, and went to Sea World! It was truly an adventure, and a great time with our family!!! In the picture above, Luke plays his new DS on the balcony of our hotel room.
Having some lunch at Sea World!

Nate meets Polar Bear- and took home a stuffed bear he named Pola and has slept with every night since.

Here the kids are getting eaten by shark jaws... a few seconds later Nate jumps inside and sets off an alarm... oops.

Petco! GO Padres!!!
