This year BOTH the boys really enjoyed decorating eggs the day before Easter. This year we got the kit where you use stickers to put on eyes and mouths, wigs and hats- it was fun!!!

Moms Club Easter Party

We've been lucky enough to be in charge of the Moms Club parties this year, and this was our final one, the Easter party! Nate has LOVED being the party planner, because he gets to enjoy the bouncer all day long. In this case, it was a pink and green castle jumper, which Nate enjoyed from dawn til dusk. He broke only to eat chocolate and hunt for eggs. Below, Nate's best friend Emmy hunts for eggs as she shows off her adorable new haircut.

Even the big boys had a chance to hunt for eggs in their very own egg hunt!

The Easter Bunny

This weekend Nate and I went to the "Breakfast with the Bunny" at the South Bay Galleria, and had a great time! Emmy, Meredith and baby Sydney met us for our free train rides and McDonalds breakfast.

Nate and the Easter Bunny meet at the event...

Nate and Emmy ride the train.

Nate met a clown who made him this cool balloon animal. It's SHOCKING that it lasted several days, seeing as Nate chewed on it 24/7!
Nate sits with the bunny, patiently waiting for his lollipop.

Mammoth

Thanks once again to Nana and Grandpa Hal, we enjoyed our great annual getaway to Mamoth. This time , Jenny, Mike & Shyla were able to join us- we HAD A BLAST!!! Shyla & Luke were skiing the lift by the end of the trip, and even Nate took lessons!
Across the street from the 1849 is a small sledding area. Every year we love taking our sleds over to these little slopes for a sledding adventure. The kids laughed their heads off- and so did Jenny and I!

Proud Papa Mike poses with his new ski bunny.

Mike and Scott also enjoyed skiing together!

The kids warm up in the Jacuzzi after a day in the snow.

Luke was an amazing skier on this trip! He was confident, fearless, and tireless!

At Canyon Lodge, we found this cool igloo, and we played Club Penguin in here for a few minutes. This igloo is to become the topic of many future conversations and bedtime stories.

Here I am, so proud of Luke, who is a seasoned skier at age 6! He is doing something that I have never been able to do because of my crazy duck-feet!

Riding the gondola down to the village- a tradition on every trip!

We can't wait til next season!!!!
