This past weekend was the annual family reunion in Palm Springs at grandma Aileen's house. As usual, grandma ordered up a perfect weekend.
The family reunion is a tradition that has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember. The first one I have a memory of was in San Juan Capistrano and my grandma was wearing light up boobies and sing Dolly Parton's "9 to 5". Now it's always held at her house, and we have an annual talent show. Luke is the reigning child champion for the last two years. This year he did an act with Mia and Lindsey, performing Katie Perry's Darkhorse. Luke rapped the Juicy J portion of the song. On Sunday we always have a croquet tournament.
I feel so blessed to be part of such a large and fun family. There's never a shortage of laughter!!! My grandma is not in good health, and I'm not sure how much longer these reunions will exist. But I'm so glad I have had this time with her and my family, and that I have been able to shatebit with Scott and my boys.
Here, Laura and Uncle Greg hang in the jacuzzi with Kylie, Nate, Allie, and Chloe (Michael and Stephanie's kids).

On Sunday, our competitive Nate learned croquet and made some strong shots.

Luke, Mia and Lindsey with their perpetual trophy!

After this amazing performance.

That's baby Abby in Lindsey's tummy. Below, I enjoy the reunion and ham it up for Mimi, the photographer, while Scott talks to Nana Kim on the phone ( she had just broken her arm while skiing in Mammoth).
