This year Scott was invited to San Antonio, to the Coaches Academy, as part of the US Army All American Bowl. His ticket was, free, so we tagged along for a three night stay at the Marriott Riverwalk. The boys did great on the 2.5 hour flight, and although it was 30 degrees in San Antonio, we were determined to make the best of it.
Our hotel had an indoor pool, which we enjoyed every day. Luke and I watched DVD's in the bathroom while Nate napped and Daddy attended seminars. It doesn't sound so great, but it was actually fun!
Scott's player, Robert Woods, #2, was the reason we also got to go, and Luke enjoyed sitting next to him at the welcome BBQ on our first night. So far, we're racking up lots of gear, mini helmets, coaching whistles, hats, and shirts ( don't tell our Bumpa they all say "Army")!
