Today the weather was better in San Antonio, and we decided to head over to the Tower of Americas, ride to the top, and eat dinner at the Chart House. Similar to the Stratosphere in Las Vegas, the Tower is giant, with a UFO looking structure at the top (aka The Chart House... yum!!!)
The grounds around the Tower are beautiful. There are waterfalls with little pathways and a giant hill for sliding on cardboard. The kids loved the entire Tower experience, from exploring the waterfalls, to sliding, to riding the elevator, to eating at the top. The restaurant actually rotates while you eat, so Luke and Nate enjoyed continuously putting their drinks on the rotating part and watching it slowly move away.
