Using our Disneyland season passes has not been difficult. The boys and I LOVE spending time at Disney and California Adventure. Above, we posed at Rainforest Cafe, where we sometimes take the monorail to have lunch. It's nice to get out of the heat and enjoy lunch in such a fun, themed restaurant. Below, the boys wait with Mr. Toad to get on Luke's favorite Fantasyland ride:
Nate has discovered a passion for Cotton Candy. He loves the stuff, but it sure does make a mess!
One of the highlights for the boys was seeing the Phineas and Ferb street show, where they both got in the action and danced with the Campfire Girls. Now, Luke and his Dad have a bedtime and goodbye ritual that involves doing a quick jig called "Squirrels in my Pants". Luke learned that from the show.
While we were waiting for the Bugs Life show, Luke acted as photographer while we played around the rocks and posed with our cool 3D glasses.
After this adventure, Luke and I got to go back for "Big Boy Day" at Disney. We were joined by Kiki and the kids and we had an amazing day! We rode the monorail to Rainforest Cafe, bought a Phineas doll, and stayed until the park closed. It was amazing riding the rockets in Tomorrowland at dusk, watching the parade go by and the castle light up. But most awesome was my sweet, sweet, growing boy telling me on the ride home, "This was the best day ever."
